WEST COAST SUNSET -- Haven't been here in awhile as I started jogging on the Pacific Beach bikewalk. You don't get as many brilliant sunsets here, it's either crystal clear or the fog offshore blocks it. But the cloud formations told me I might get lucky. I climbed the canyon trail from Black's Beach and hiked another mile to my favorite vantage point. I fired up the camera and got out of the way as mother nature did her dance. Standing atop the 450 foot cliffs allowed me to see what would have been invisible from the shoreline: the solar reflection on the back of the waves. Photo by Jimmy Cypher — at Scripps Canyon.
